Welcome

The Judges and employees of the Fifteenth Judicial District welcome you to our website. It has been developed to assist you in finding general information about Community Corrections and offer you with contact points for the offices within this district. General information about the district is located below.  We hope you find this site useful.

What Are Community Corrections?

Community corrections are sanctions imposed on convicted individuals that occur within a residential or community setting rather than in jail or prison. These sanctions are enforced by agencies or courts with legal authority over the offending parties. In general, community corrections programs are operated by probation agencies (correctional supervision within the community instead of incarceration) and parole agencies (conditional, supervised release from prison).
